A passion for knitting machines and loyalty to the area and its values: that’s the recipe with which Gnoato Lino has succeeded in becoming partner to such big names as Brother, starting from a small town in the Vicenza area
More than 70 years have passed since Mario Gnoato started a business selling and repairing knitting and industrial machines in Tezze sul Brenta in Vicenza. Since then, the passion for mechanics has been the constant that accompanies Gnoato Lino through the decades and generations, a family business with a high rate of innovation (not a combination to be taken for granted).
The real expansion began for this company in the 1980s, when it passed from the simple warehouse of its beginnings to a genuine sales outlet, welcoming and well stocked.
In the 1990s, following the evolution of the market and embracing ever-new technologies, the company began to focus on sewing machines and semi-professional embroiderers: “These are sectors where we found a huge demand,” says owner Nicola Gnoato, Mario’s grandson, “and where we’ve been able to provide the best demonstration of our expertise. This led us to become an official dealer for the Brother brand in 1995, a collaboration that further strengthened our market presence.” Gnoato Lino’s long-standing partnership with Brother has also helped make environmental and social responsibility one of their top priorities; the Japanese multinational is well known for its commitment to sustainability and its quality certifications.
All this has certainly favoured the arrival of the Veneto-based company in the world of promotion, which occurred in the 2000s and opened up new prospects. This is also thanks to PTE: “Taking part in several editions of this exhibition,” explains Gnoato, “has allowed us to expand our sphere of activity in the advertising graphics field as well; thanks to this showcase, we’ve become a point of reference for Italian and European companies looking for innovative, high-quality solutions in the field of graphic customisation.”
Today, Gnoato Lino can boast a solid position on both Italian and European markets, offering a comprehensive service from sales to after-sales assistance from the heart of the historic town in the province of Vicenza, coordinated by a team of 10 dedicated to managing administration, warehouse, sales and orders. An extensive distribution network and close-knit team of experts ensure that every customer can benefit from cutting-edge products and technical support which is always available.
“The goal for the future,” concludes Nicola Gnoato, “is to further expand our offer, integrating advanced digital solutions and increasing our presence in international markets. The link with our roots gives us the strength and determination to face the challenges of the future, while the constant attention to new technologies allows us always to offer our customers the best.”
